Publicum, basement floor

In this study, you will read two different passages on a screen, each covering a different topic. After reading each passage, you will answer comprehension questions orally. Your responses will be recorded for research purposes. Once the recordings are transcribed, they will be deleted, and all participant data will remain anonymous.

After reading the texts and answering the comprehension questions, you will fill out a set of questionnaires regarding your motivation, topic interest, topic familiarity, and language proficiency.

You are eligible to participate if you:
- Are comfortable reading texts in English.
-Have no diagnosed learning disabilities, developmental, or neurological disorders.
-Have normal vision or wear glasses/contact lenses for correction.

Before the experiment, a couple of pointers to note:
-If you need glasses or contact lenses to read, bring them with you.
-Do not wear eye makeup or mascara of any kind, as they can interfere with the eye-tracking procedure.

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please inform the contact person as soon as you can. If you are unsure about the location of the Publicum basement floor, feel free to reach out in advance.
